NOTICE: As stated in the Department of Public Works (DPW) Orange Notice, effective March 2, 2026, DPW has declared a moratorium on sewer capacity allocation approvals for all new development in the Baltimore City Sewer Service Area. Development and permit applications will continue to be accepted; however, any development projects or permits that did not receive a formal allocation prior to March 2, 2026 cannot be allocated or receive final approval. Properties with failing septic systems or permits for tenant improvements requiring one or more EDUs will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Please refer to the DPW Orange Notice webpage for additional information.
