Noise Description:
New construction-- concrete pours, which will consist of the utilization of equipment to pour large amounts of concrete for columns, walls and floors--as well as delivery trucks, pump trucks, lulls, fork lifts, cranes and construction personnel.
Maximum background noise (without equipment running):
Maximum amounts of noise from from small hand tools and noise possibly made by construction personnel
Ambient night time noise level (with equipment.:
The work being conducted should not exceed the normal DBA for the area during these indicted working hours and days--which is 41 DBA at 500 feet from the site, in all directions
Reason for variance:
The pouring of large amounts of concrete for support structures, floors, and walls requires longer hours to complete and cannot be shortened or stopped once the process starts. They will also be laying in rebar for support.
Sections of Chp 74, Article IV, for which temporary variance shall apply:
Pouring of concrete requires longer hours as stated, and can be done with noise limitation according to section 6 ranging from 6 am but not longer than 9 pm respectively.
Description of interim noise control measurements.:
ECCO 550 alarm devices will be installed as needed, to minimize noise with a 35dba measurement at 220 feet
