New users must Register for an Account before creating an application.  Once signed in, an application can be created by clicking on the "Apply for a Permit" button on the Home Page. 

Non-registered users can search records without creating an account, however most Online Permit Center functionality is not available without a registered account.

The City of Birmingham is pleased to offer our citizens and customers a new online permitting solution which is called the Online Permit Center.  This will provide our customers an online solution for applying for permits, paying permit fees and monitoring the status of permits. 

 
Currently, we have 21 permit types that are live in the Online Permit Center.  The plan is to move all permit and regulatory applications to the Online Permit Center over the next several months.    We strongly encourage our customers to adopt the Online Permit Center to simplify your permit process.  All other permits will continue to be processed through the existing Tidemark Advantage and should be directed to One Stop Permitting Staff located in Room 210 of City Hall.
