The site was conditionally rezoned in 1998 (Petition No 98-77) to NS with conditions on the number of parking spaces to be provided. The client wishes to relocate the historic Leeper and Wyatt Store Building currently at 1923 South Boulevard to the existing parking lot at 1829 Cleveland Avenue. The relocated building would be used with the existing historic church on site as restaurant space. The Wyatt and Leeper Store Building is currently slated to be demolished and the subject parcel is one of few remaining parcels with adequate open space that is close enough for building relocation to be feasible.
