Please be advised that any construction, enlargement, alteration, repair, movement, demolition, or change of occupancy to a building or structure, or work on electrical, gas, mechanical, or plumbing systems governed by the 2021 International Building Code or 2021 International Residential Code, requires you to first obtain a permit from the City of Evanston Building Official.

Please use one method at a time

• Company Name - Enter a partial company name using the wildcard symbol (%). For example, if your company name is Century Electrical Co., enter %century% in the company name field and click on the search button. This will ensure that all the companies with the word "century" in the company name come up in your search.
• Last Name - Enter the last name of the licensee and click the search button.
• Address - Enter only the numerical portion of the company address then click the search button.
