Kansas Open Records Act Requirements
Licensee and company information is open for public use. By using this application, however, you agree to follow the guidelines of the Kansas Open Records Act. K.S.A 45-220(c) and 45-230 prevent public records containing names and/or addresses from being used for commercial solicitation purposes, which is a class C misdemeanor if violated. By using this application you agree that:
1. You will not use the list of names and addresses contained in or derived from the requested public record for the purpose of selling or offering for sale any property or service to any person or firm located at any address listed; and
2. You shall not sell, give, or otherwise make available to any person or firm any list of names or addresses contained in or derived from the requested public records, or information for the purpose of allowing that person or firm to sell or offer for sale any property or service to any person or firm listed, or to any person or firm located at any address listed.
