We are pleased to offer our citizens, businesses, and visitors access to government services online, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Building Department is now accepting electronic submittal of permit applications and construction plans. We encourage all applicants to take advantage of this new service in order to enhance their interactive experience with the Department throughout the permitting process.

The Village of Key Biscayne will continue its regular practice of accepting hardcopy (paper) submittal of applications and plans. Paper submittals will be scanned into the portal before review. Documents submitted in sizes 8.5 x 11 or 11x 17 will be free of charge; larger paper files may be subject to a scanning fee.

Our Offices are at 88 W. McIntyre St., Suite 250.  Permits are processed between 7:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.  There is no walk-thru offered at this time.  Inspections are daily from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., except Friday with no Plumbing, Mechanical or Fire.
