Wildlife Survey
Two to three weeks prior to the installation of BMP’s for clearing and grading, a wildlife survey will be conducted to establish existing conditions and presence/absence of protected species. Any wildlife discovered nesting that is Local, State, or Federally protected or protected under KCC 21A.24.382 B through J and K will need to be protected during construction. This condition would apply during the nesting/breeding season (March – July) of the protected species or occupied habitat. Please contact the King County Permitting Ecologist prior to conducting the wildlife survey.
