To use most of the services we provide, you must register and create a user account. You can view information, get questions answered and get limited services as an anonymous user. We trust this site will provide you with the means to get important things done.
To enter a complaint, you do not need to register. Complaints can be submitted anonymously. To get started, click either on the "Complaint" tab above, or "Enter Complaint/Request for Service" below.
Website problem suggestions (10/23): On the PC:
1. Make sure your operating system has been updated today or recently.
2. Browser: Use Microsoft Edge or, as a second choice, Google Chrome. Do not use Internet Explorer.
3. Clear the cache of your browser with these steps (these steps specifically for Windows MS Edge, 9/23; other browsers will vary):
3i. Go to browser settings: Click three dots in upper right of the browser to get dropdown.
3ii. Choose "Settings"> then, on the left under "Settings" choose "Privacy, search, and services"
Go down to the "Clear browsing data" section> click: "Clear browsing data now", clicking "Choose what to clear">
3iii. click "Clear now" button.
4. Exit Settings, and retry Lake County website again, or close browser, re-open it and re-try website. If no success, restart your computer and try again, and if still no success, re-try tomorrow. To contact CDD for help with this, call us at 707-263-2382.
We do not have specific Apple instructions but try to follow the idea of the steps PC steps above if you are having problems.
