Your license must be renewed every year by September 30. Your license must be associated with your online account. Instructions.
Use the Online Renewal Instructions posted below. All fees and fines must be paid before you can renew. Use the instructions below.
Insurance for all contractors whose licenses start C- must be current. Expired insurance will incur fees and interrupt your ability to work in Pinellas County.
HOW TO SUBMIT INSURANCE UPDATES
You must be logged in to see your insurance expiration dates.
If you do NOT see your license when you log in, you MUST submit your insurance via email.
CHECK YOUR EXPIRATION DATES BEFORE UPLOADING A NEW CERTIFICATE. Only submit new or expiring insurance documents.
INSURANCE UPDATES SUBMITTED ONLINE RECEIVE PRIORITY PROCESSING.
IF YOU UPLOAD YOUR INSURANCE OR EXEMPTION ONLINE, DO NOT SUBMIT A DUPLICATE VIA EMAIL.
Upload insurance certificates or exemption only. Do NOT submit any other document type.
If you do NOT submit online, send insurance certificates VIA EMAIL TO INSURANCECERTIFICATES@PINELLAS.GOV. Please allow 5 days for processing/updates.
