Project Description: | Construction of a single family home with an approximate footprint of 30'x40';, as well as an on-site septic system. The site is a .3 acre property located on Lake Holm, containing a portion of a Category II wetland and Type F water. The 165' buffer of the lake covers nearly the entire site. The subject property is intended for residential use. We have attempted to design a single family residence which avoids adverse impact on the vegetation and wildlife on the site, and preserves the natural character of the shoreline. Nearly every feature required to sustain a human dwelling on this property is located in the only place it can be to comply with the intent and the performance standards set forth in the State and County guidelines. Special attention has been given to keeping the footprint of the home out of the wetland and to protect the environment immediately adjacent to the water. The septic system design was approved by Seattle-King County Public Health on April 15, 2022. |
