Directional signage indicating the route to the nearest like accessible element shall be provided at the following locations. These directional signs shall include the International Symbol of Accessibility: 1. Inaccessible public toilets and bathing facilities (where allowed by code.) 2. Elevators not serving an accessible route. 3. At each separate-sex toilet and bathing room indicating the location of the nearest family or assisted-use toilet or bathing room where provided in accordance with Section 1109.2.1 I. B.C. 4. At exits and exit stairways serving a required accessible space, but not providing an approved accessible means of egress, signage shall be provided in accordance with Section 1007.10. Street addresses shall be posted on the exterior of a building so as to be visible from the street or road fronting the property. o Size of numbers: Address numbers shall be five (5) inches high. o Color: Address numbers shall contrast with the color of the structure/building. o Illumination: Numbers shall be either reflective or provided with lighting provisions. o Out of sight: Building/structures out of sight of a street or road shall have additional address number clearly posted at the driveway/access road entrance leading to property.
