Accela Citizen Access
We are pleased to offer citizens, businesses, and visitors
to the Linn County Planning & Building Department access to Linn County
property information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Using the Citizen Access portal you can check a
property’s permit history; apply for a land use, building, electrical,
plumbing, or mechanical permit; check on the status of an application; pay
permit fees; and schedule or check the status of a building inspection.
Linn County citizens can use the ACA portal to submit permit applications and schedule permit inspections. You will be contacted by Department staff for payment of applications submitted through Citizen Access. Payments currently can be accepted over the phone or submitted in person in the Department office. Online payment of permit applications will be available soon.
To use ALL of the online services we provide, you must
register and create a user account. To set up an account, select “Register for
an Account” and follow the instructions.
You can view property information and search permit records without
an account. Searches can be completed using the following: record number,
parcel number, address, property owner, contact name, License Number, or
License Type. If you are searching for a permit issued by a contract city, you
can enter the city permit number under the “Project Name” field.
