CITY HALL CLOSURE - City of Meridian all staff city event is being held on APRIL 1st, 2026. All city offices will be closed until 2:00pm.

Due to our annual all employee event, inspections for Planning, Building, Electrical and Mechanical disciplines will be limited. Please schedule your projects accordantly for any inspections that may be needed. If your inspection is not absolutely needed on this date, please schedule for the following day. If due to inspection volume, we are not able to perform your inspection on APRIL 1st, 2026, your inspection may be moved to the next day. New inspection requirements for commercial building permits (C-NEW, C-SHELL, C-MULTI, C-ADD and C-GAR). Building Pre-Construction inspection will be REQUIRED to be scheduled prior to footing. As part of this inspection the building inspector will go over required inspections, provide important contact information, and answer any additional questions you may have for the project.
