Electronic Payments Update
As of March 22, 2026, our electronic payment page on this permitting portal will look different due to an ePayment adapter change. Payments will be made in a more modern interface that may require CAPTCHA verification. Please email PDSdata@paloalto.gov if you have any questions.

IMPORTANT SECURITY ALERT
We have received reports of fraudulent invoices targeting permit applicants. Please be advised that all payments must be made exclusively through the City’s official permitting portal, Accela Citizen Access (https://aca-prod.Accela.com/PALOALTO). City staff will never email you a PDF invoice and request your response for a separate link for payment. If you are uncertain, please contact the assigned staff for your project.
