NOTICE
Excise Tax Rate Increase - Effective July 1, 2026
Residential New Construction - $1.75 sq. ft.
Residential Addition/Alterations - $.88 sq. ft.
Non-Residential Non-Retail - $1.50 sq. ft.
Non-Residential Retail - $1.50 sq. ft. for the first 15,000 sq. ft.
Residential construction occuring within the Hancock and Cascade Elementary School attendance districts shall be exempt from excise tax for a period of ten years from the effective date of this ammendment.
